Back Room Kids-Meeting Nov. 3

It was a meeting filled with imagination! We gathered together, drank chocolate milk, ate carrots and tacos and...wrote, illustrated and shared.

Our starting off point was a "what if".

WHAT IF....You were snowed in at school.

As you can see in the above photo the kids were right into it! The results were hilarious. Stories, illustrations and comic strips emerged. Some were happy about being snowed in, some were deeply saddened (okay, depressed). Some went on an adventure, rescuing fellow snowed in students. In one case it was actually snowing IN the school and animals were hibernating there. The 45 minutes we had flew by in no time, with many still talking out ideas  and sharing their stories even as they left the library.
